24 Dec Covenant Woods Celebrates a December Full of Holiday Cheer!
December has been a month to remember at Covenant Woods Retirement Community! The holiday spirit has filled every corner of our community, thanks to an exciting lineup of festive events that brought joy, laughter, and a sense of togetherness for all.
Our talented resident chorus delighted us with their heartwarming performance, The Colors of Christmas, showcasing their musical gifts and spreading the beauty of the season. The music continued with the Sunday Song Circle: Christmas Version and our cherished Covenant Woods Christmas Hymn Sing, where residents joined their voices in celebration of the holidays.
Creativity took center stage during the Pinecone Ornament Making session with the Crafting Club. Residents crafted beautiful ornaments to decorate their homes and share with loved ones. Adding some playful fun to the mix, the Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest had everyone showing off their festive—and hilariously tacky—holiday attire!
Our Christmas Toy Drive was a huge success, thanks to the generosity of our community. It was heartwarming to see everyone come together to make the season brighter for children in need.
The festivities continued with a delightful Holiday Mix and Mingle, where residents connected over tasty treats and holiday cheer, and a Personal Christmas Gift Exchange that added a thoughtful touch to the season. To top it all off, Santa Bob himself paid us a visit, bringing laughter and smiles to residents of all ages.
Thank you to everyone who participated in making this December so memorable. The holiday season at truly highlights the warmth, creativity, and generosity that make our community feel like home. Here’s to even more joyous celebrations in the new year!
