Stay Cool and Healthy with Summer Treats

That’s why we’re excited to share easy, healthy, and delicious recipes that our residents and their families can enjoy throughout the hot months. These treats are not only tasty but also packed with nutrients, helping everyone stay cool and energized.

1. Mango Coconut Freeze

2 ripe mangoes, peeled and diced
1 can of coconut milk
1 tablespoon of honey or to taste
Blend mangoes, coconut milk, and honey until smooth. Pour into molds or an ice cube tray and freeze until solid. These tropical pops are a delightful, dairy-free way to cool down and get a taste of the tropics.

2. Berry Yogurt Swirl

2 cups of mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries)
2 cups of Greek yogurt
Honey or maple syrup, to taste
Blend the berries with a splash of honey or maple syrup until smooth. Mix the berry blend with Greek yogurt, create a swirl effect, then spoon the mixture into cups or molds. Freeze until firm. This treat is rich in protein and antioxidants, perfect for a nutritious snack.

4 cups cubed watermelon
